Our customer in this job was having problems with water seeping into their basement so they have a flood prevention system installed but this system ruined their tile floor around the perimeter. Making the best out of a bad situation our customer decided to have carpet installed. The only problem was they wanted padding underneath and since that requires nailing tackless strips around the perimeter (which would damage the flood prevention system) our customer thought they could only have a carpet glued down. We explained to them it was possible to have padding we just have to glue the tackless strips down a few days before installation of the carpet.
After the seam was complete Rob finished the rest of the carpet installation.
